The ARGO family keeps growing.
Ontario Drive and Gear (ODG) is adding a new model to its lineup of rugged, amphibious off-road vehicles. The new Conquest 6x6 utilizes the powerful 20 hp liquid-cooled Kawasaki engine of its larger 8x8 cousin to achieve impressive performance all-round.
The state-of-the-art Kawasaki unit runs extremely smoothly and is thermally sound, eliminating the possibility of overheating - even in the most adverse operating conditions. This top-notch, high-quality engine delivers impressive numbers for the new Conquest 6x6:
- Towing capacity of up to 1,400 lbs/635 kg
- Top speed of 35 km/h on land and 4 km/h on water
- Load capacity of up to 700 lbs/318 kg
The 6x6 Conquest combines the legendary off-road abilities of all ARGO amphibious off-road vehicles with more aggressive, increased ground clearance tires (25" Rawhide IIIs), an extended wheel base and front axle bearing extensions for increased axle and bearing life.
"Our new 6x6 Conquest features increased power with new accessories to create one impressive package. If you only want to own one off-road vehicle, this should be it." says Bob Hunter, product manager at ODG.
Other standard features of the 6x6 Conquest include hydraulic brakes, a full skid plate for lower body protection, a full in-dash gauge cluster and a welded steel roll bar kit with seat belts. Buyers have the choice of five colour schemes: Blue, tundra, orange, yellow, and the new 'camouflage'.
All ARGO Models Now Available in Jordan Advantage Wetlands Camo ®
In response to customer feedback and increasing demand, Ontario Drive and Gear is introducing a new camouflage colour scheme for all ARGO amphibious off-road vehicles. The Jordan Advantage Wetlands Camo ® colour, designed by famous camouflage expert Bill Jordan, is incredibly detailed and shows reeds and cattails common across North America. The light yellow/brown/gray camouflage design is now available on all ARGO 6x6 and 8x8 models and allows hunters, anglers and naturalists to blend in with nature like never before - particularly in marshland and along weedy shorelines.
